A Feeling of being shortchanged by Government
Approximately 2 months after the announcement of SERS in AMK, the government announced another 890 units of new BTO flats at AMK Central location.
Are the residents from the AMK SERS getting a fair deal?
Short answer – NO!
I had already written in this article highlighting how lousy the deal was by giving nothing but inconveniences to the affected residents.
Why can’t the government allocate the new AMK BTO site as a replacement site for all SERS residents?
Nearer to everything
The new BTO site is nearer to transportation hub, markets, polyclinic, food centres etc.
And it really makes sense for older folks to have easier access to these amenities than to chuck all of them at a god forsaken corner of the expressway.
I guess by now many unhappy residents from the affected AMK blocks are now even angrier with this new BTO flat news.
So in conclusion, are we being shortchanged, from the surface, it seems like it. 🙁
